Freeview, Freesat and Sky Television
Freeview is the easiest way to enjoy digital TV for Free.
There are up to 50 digital TV channels with no subscription, no contract, no fuss. There are also many digital radio stations, as well as the interactive features via the red button.
To receive Freeview a set top box or TV with built in Digital tuner is required. Receiving Freeview is entirely based on being in a coverage area, and having a good quality aerial providing an adequate signal level at each TV set. Many people in the south east may need to upgrade their aerial, or have other work done on their distribution system to receive Freeview.

Freesat was set up so that everyone in the UK can access free digital TV no matter where they live.
As Freesat is delivered via a satellite dish, it gives access to free digital channels where digital via an aerial is not possible.
Like Freeview, with Freesat there is no subscription and no contract, you just pay for the equipment and installation.
Freesat offers 140 TV and radio channels, including subscription FREE HD channels from BBC HD and ITV1 HD, if you opt for a Freesat HD box.
There are three types of Freesat box;
Freesat SD – The standard box delivering 140 TV and radio channels in perfect quality
Freesat HD – If you have a HD ready TV, make the most of it and enjoy the deeper more lifelike pictures that High Definition brings. You can also connect the Freesat HD box to the Internet and access
BBC i-Player via the red button. Great for catching up on programmes you missed.
Freesat HD Plus – All the features of the HD box plus the fantastic ability to pause, rewind and record in SD or HD. Store over 200 hours of SD or 80 hours of HD programs at watch them when it suits you.
