TV Aerial System
This system distributes analogue & digital Terrestrial TV, plus if required FM and DAB radio.
TV Aerial and single satellite channel playback system.
With this type of system a single satellite receiver, positioned at a dedicated position, can distribute one selected satellite channel to all points. Obviously only one satellite channel at a time can be viewed.
This type of system is usually installed with a normal TV Aerial system in individual Houses or where just one satellite channel is required to be viewed at one time such as a leisure club with several TV’s.
A normal TV aerial system will be capable of having a satellite playback satellite system added if required.
Hotel Type System or SMATV
With a ‘Hotel Type’ system, a number of Terrestrial and Satellite channels are chosen and distributed around the system to be received direct on to the TV’s. If for example 5 satellite channels were required then 5 digital satellite receivers as well as additional equipment would be needed. Each sat receiver would also require it’s own viewing card and subscription if Sky channels are required. We can arrange subscriptions on your behalf. This type of system is installed in Hotels, Offices, and Leisure Clubs. A normal TV aerial system will be capable of having a ‘Hotel Type’ satellite system added if required.
IRS
An Integrated Reception System (IRS) is usually installed in multi dwelling environments such as blocks of flats. Sometimes IRS is also installed in large houses and other environments such as Schools, Colleges, and Offices.
